IIRC the key is to use the default system id or at least an incorrect system id. That way it's listening to the "wrong" system...yet still listening.

Interesting.. I'll have to try this with a TX-limited MaxTrac and see how it goes. It would be nice for these trunk-only units as well, since I can't put a conventional scanlist in there.
