I am buying a used SDS100 and the owner has already registered it with Uniden.
Can I transfer the scanner registration to me? If so, how?
I assume I am going to have to have it registered to me in myuniden.com so I can do the upgrades.

Only the battery if it needs one.

for the purpose of upgrades, I believe you can register it normally and purchase them without issue, regardless of if someone else has done so. Since the registration is just for upgrades and something like being sent the new battery, you should not have to worry about transferring anything.

We only send the battery to the last person who registered the scanner (in case of multiple registrations). Of course, if we send one, then someone later re-registers it, the 2nd person does not get a battery.
