Are there any remote head mobile scanners out there capable of monitoring the P25 Ohio MARCS system? Just easier to mount the scanner in my car and the rest of it under the seat but I dont know if such a thing exists. Thanks!

Sort of, but not reliably.
One can get a Uniden BCD 536HP. Then a "de-commissioned" iPhone, iPad could be used as a remote head. Functionality is very limited, however. The app that "connects" these two is the Siren App from Uniden.

The Whistler TRX-2 head is designed to be used remotely, or attached.

The MARCS system is a P25 Phase 1 system. It can be heard with a BCD996XT scanner, which is compatible with the RH-96 remote head if you can find one.
The TRX-2 is the only currently produced scanner with a remote head.
There is an adapter one can build that will allow an RH-96 to work with the BCD996P2 but it is pretty complicated to build and program.
