Hello,
I'll be taking over as the database admin for the state of Rhode Island. It's my intention to whip this database into shape asap but I'll need the help of area scannists as well. I plan on using data from the Scan New England Wiki to update, but I also need help from you folks to get things up to snuff. I have worked all of the submissions that were in the queue for the state.
As I see it now the RI database is a disaster, alpha tags are non-existent or hieroglyphic as are channel descriptions. I have done a quick fix to Providence County thus far and will whittle away at the rest.
Geotagging will be a big chore but I plan to tag each town with a little bit of an overlap into the adjacent towns. County agencies will of course be tagged for countywide monitoring, as will state agencies. RISCON will be a chore in and of itself, but I will follow the same procedure unless anyone has better input.
Your help would be appreciated. Please use the Submit Info link at the top of the page to do so if you can. Thanks!
