Hi guys, I'll be traveling home to Richmond for the holidays. I'm wondering if Richmond Ambulance still simulcast on 453.975. I'll be bringing my Pro 668 and my Sds100 (which I think having cold solder problems). Any help would be appreciated.

The RAA's radio communications have been migrated entirely to the Richmond/Henrico/Chesterfield trunked radio system. The 453.975MHz frequency is still licensed to the city, and is being kept as a backup in the event that the TRS fails. Your SDS100 should monitor the system flawlessly.
