I was wondering if someone can modify the Riverside County Fire/RRU channel names to include the Alpha Tags? For example I see -

This on RR.
154.14500 WNNV408 RM167.9 PL RVC Cmd 5 Response - Moreno Valley, Mira Loma, Pedley, Rubidoux, Blythe

But on my scanner it shows as
Riverside
Riverside County - Fire
Support - Box Springs, Black Rock

It would be nice if it said
Riverside
Riverside County - Fire
RVC Cmd 5 - Moreno Valley, Mira Loma, Pedley, Rubidoux, Blythe

Any thoughts, ideas?

Good Catch. Looks like they need to take out the "Response" and "Tactical" and add the RVC CMD in on the Alpha tag

Response - Cabazon, Desert Hot Springs, Colorado River
Response - Indio, Coachella, La Quinta
Response - Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells
Command - VHF Link to Riverside City Fire Cmd 2
Tactical - Countywide
Tactical - West County
Tactical - East County
Tactical - Countywide

Tactical - Hemet
Tactical - Moreno Valley
Tactical - Indio, Perris

What was weird today was the Gibbel Fire was showing on 154.130 Response - Banning, Beaumont, Calimesa which doesn't seem right at all. It should have been on RRU2. Something was off some where.

I heard traffic on the Riverside fire calling to go to Tac 7. Would be nice it it was listed as Tac # instead of just Tactical.

If you downloaded from the RRDB then there must be some sort of disconnect from the DB to the downloadable file as the Support name hasn’t been used since about 2013. It is also showing repeater sites vs the the response areas of that channel. Maybe Uniden changed something in their scanner to show the description vs the alpha tag. I have looked around the forums to see if anyone else has had this problem but have not found one yet. Should this be asked in the DB forum? This needs to fixed on RR vs modifying the DB IMO.

There is no RIV CMD 20, it's CMD 2. So I think it's being RVC CMD 20 on the RVC radios is correct. It used to be Support 9. RVC needs to add RIV CMD 3 to their radios also. We've had many times in the city where RVC units had to be given HT's to they could operate in the city because CMD 2 was already in use for a major incident.

Well I'm retired CalFire for that area and now I'm tight with RIV and one of their photographers and there's no CMD 20.

I am a reserve com tech for RivCoFD , Confirming, There is RIV C20 (Riverside City Command 20) It's a patch to the Riverside city FD's UHF system. It used to be RVC C9, RVC C9 is now utilized in the east side (desert) of the county.
