Helping with the confusion

New to the forum as of today, saw the back and forth regarding Rockdale County System, I'll try to help out here:

four control channels: 854.1625; 857.5625; 856.5375; & 856.1125

five voice channels: 855.5375; 853.5750; 852.6500; 851.9125; & 851.4875

these are the freq's in use, they will not change, rebanding of freq's is complete, system is not digital still analog. can't help with scanners

Pro-164 not following Rockdale Trunk

First, let me say that I am grateful that the live feed is up and running well. A big thank you to the feed provider. Secondly, I'm asking for help.
I am trying to reliably monitor the Rockdale county system D319 using a RS Pro164 with firmware version 1.07. I am using ARC300 Version 1.21 Build 6 to program the 164. It seems reasonably strait forward, but I must be doing something wrong. I have programed the 4 control channels and also the 5 voice channels.
All are set to MOT mode. Trunk groups are programmed, but I am operating in open mode until I get this working correctly.
For this bank, the trunk is enabled, set to Motorola, all tgid sub banks enabled. I have tried all 3 of the system type radio buttons (normal, Splinter, custom/rebanded).
With just a RS 800 MHz duckie, if I manually monitor the active control channel it sounds pretty good. A little scratchy, but not bad. Two or three bars of signal on the display.
If I manually park on a voice channel I also get reasonably good reception.
But, in scan mode, I get little or nothing. I do notice that when parked on the control channel the display shows only 5 -20 % decode rate, but don't know if this is ok or really bad. So, what am I doing wrong?
Do I need to make any manual edits to the reband tables?
I also built an 11 element yagi that gives a stronger signal, but still follow the trunk. I am at a loss.

You need to use the custom table and put the rebanded info in it, I am not familiar with Arc300 to advise you what exactly to do with that.

If your only getting a 5-20% decode rate don't expect to track the system, that is just to weak for the scanner to track the system. Try the yagi, that might help, but you are probably to far and/or have other geographic features to overcome.

Rockdale county scanner

Will the Rockdale county scanner feed be back up soon? I missed it this AM when I tried to listen.
Hope if it is gone offline for good, someone else will broadcast it. II have really enjoyed it live outside Rockdale county in Gwinnett.

Sorry for the outage. The power went out last night for a couple of hours and the UPS batteries drained shutting down the PC killing 4 feeds. It's back up now.

Hopefully the DSL will get fixed by Monday but with my phone company (Windstream) you never know. It went down after the storms Wednesday night. Sorry.

Im new to how this works, I didn't know it was someone volunteering their time and equipment for the fed. Thanks so much for doing it! I'm sorry you are without dsl, I would die without internet.
how do you provide the feed, is it like a scanner hooked in to your computer, this is all new to me but I'm finding it really neat. Thanks for doing it! And good luck getting your dsl fixed
