Crap, they have a new application on file again? Don't those idiots ever give up? I would think the FCC would just dismiss it just like they did last time. Like I said before, a town that's no more than 2 miles radius does NOT need a TRUNKED system. Their public works even uses cell phones to communicate now and don't even have antennas on most, if not all, their trucks anymore.

So lets see in this thread there are a yes and a no way about this proposed? trunking system.
Tyco International which I am happy to refer to as Tyco Toys famous makers of ecrap radios with such success stories as PA and NY Open the sky is falling radio systems. Tyco is a Hamilton, Bermuda based corporation not a US company. BTW Tyco wants to sell off this piece money losing business if you know anyone who wants to invest.

RadiomanNJ, Yes, you did miss something! There was a posting on this forum a couple years ago regarding the possible TRUNKED system radio license Roselle Park applied for. They were planning to upgrade to a 500 MHz TRUNKED system, however the FCC has officially dismissed their license application. Also, yes, I know this because I saw their actual license application on the official FCC website. I copied and pasted it here, so you can see it for yourself.

Also, what in the world are you talking about regarding TYCO Toys International?? I never mentioned anything about that in my postings.
