RR database CD, direct downloading

Is there a way to download freq's direct from the CD purchased from RR to the BCD996T, i have the subscription but am not always able to hook up to internet, i was wondering if i could use the disc to load direct to 996T?? I am using the ARC996 software.

The only software I believe that has this ability is ProScan, which does support the 996. Perhaps you can use copy/paste?

you are possibly right....nevewr thought of that and i haven't yet copied and pasted any files, i load them direct ...i will try that method though and will advise its results,
