Farragut is the new rich part of Knox County. Not part of Blount County. That station may or may not have a dispatch in it now. (We joke that the adjoining area reaching into Loudon County is trying to be West Farragut)
Farragut is so wealthy, that it's got an old rich part (back to the mid 80's) and a new rich part (McFee Rd area).

The fire station on Campbell Station Rd was home of RM Knox Co ops dispatch until about 2007 when it was moved (and somewhat integrated) to the Knox E-911 center. Alas, it's just a fire station with HQ type operations upstairs for the Fire Dept.

And you're absolutely correct, 'East Loudon' County is basically turning into a 'West' Farragut, without the zoning and sign restrictions.

Here's an idea. Who cares. Just label it Blount County EMS Dispatch. Because it doesn't matter if it's Rural Metro yesterday, AMR today, or Vols LLC tomorrow (kidding). The talkgroup is still for Blount County Emergency Medical Services and will remain as such no matter who gets awarded the contract next for Blount Co EMS :)
I didn't label it "Blount County EMS Dispatch" because there is a Blount County Rescue Squad out here. I didn't want confusions. And technically it is not owned by Blount County" and I didn't want to confuse people, like I was when I saw it labeled at Rural Metro. So I labeled what the company name is on the side of the rigs now, AMR. I hope that's OK, and everyone will know what it is. (Sorry I have been away a few days and missed the conversation)

It is technically owned by Blount govt indeed as they own the back haul equipment for those sites and manage the users (more complicated then this but written in simple terms as I am not writing a 600 page legal document here LOL). Blount is the voting partner in the TVRCS minutes and Blount govt is assigned that Talkgroup as part of thier "block" and can assign the TG as they wish (that's what they pay for), AMR is only on the talkgroup as a contracted partner for Blount County with Blount's blessing, but Blount can remove AMR off the TG if the contract is cancelled, terminated, transfered, etc etc etc or any other legal term. For Profit ground transport EMS companies are not allowed to have Thier own primary assigned Talkgroup on the TVRCS zones, they are only allowed to contract with a govt agency and use that govt agencies TG pool for the sole purposes written on such contract and agreement. So, as soon as the contract is no longer valid (only speaking about Blount County assigned trucks right now) AMR loses it's privilege to be on that Blount govt TG, but they will still be allowed to have access to the statewide mutual aid TGs for the sole purpose of running mutual aid for a govt agency within this state and MED TGs. As that is permissable under a TVRCS MOU agreement.

PS. It doesn't matter to me what you label it. I don't go by R/R labels anyway..and I don't want you to think I am complaining, just explaining.
