Sagadahoc changing to narrowband

On Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009 Sag. Fire and Law will go to narrowband. They are upgrading radios in all Departments over the next few days. There will not be too much change.

Sagadahoc Fire will change from 154.295 simplex to Tx 153.7850 and Rx 154.2950 repeater. PL127.3
Sagadahoc Law will change from 155.685 simplex to Tx 153.8450 and Rx 155.0775 repeater. PL 192.8
Sagadahoc Law North repeater is Tx 153.8450 and Rx 155.6850 PL 192.8
Sagadahoc Fire North repeater is Tx 153.7850 and Rx 155.9550 PL127.3

I don't know how the radio in the field will know which repeater to go to, but that is the setup.

The current Fire and Law frequencies will be used as back-up channels

Does anyone know if this has gone into effect? Didn't hear anything the other day while traveling through...

Also, what departments are one Fire North vs normal Fire...

Thanks
Chris

The change went into effect last October. 'Sag. Fire' and 'Fire North' are now simulcast. Fire North includes Bowdoin, Bowdoinham and Richmond. Sag. Fire includes Bath, Georgetown, Arrowsic, West Bath and Phippsburg.

We all hear each other now through a repeater system.

Woolwich remains on their own freq. of 154.100. Topsham remains on 153.980
