That's the same as the currently listed price on ScannerMaster's site. ScannerMaster, at present, indicates this scanner would ship[p at no extra charge, but that's a common "end of the year" or "black Friday" period where shipping cost is not incurred. At the ~$250.00 price point, Amazon shipping would be free, but you'd pay sales tax (for most states that use that) whereas on ScannerMaster, unless in MA, you would not incur the added tax.

Of course, Amazon often resets sale pricing based on other vendor's listings, and ScannerMaster does not always offer 'free shipping'.

You will have to check everyday to find the lowest prices. It swings that often. The 325P2 has been going up and down allot lately. I wouldn’t trust ali express but some do. Buyer beware. If it’s to good to be true, chances are great at getting burned.

Things have changed at ScannerMaster...
I can't speak for other states but the last item I bought from them in August of 2020 I got nicked with sales tax here in Ohio...
An order about 11 months prior, 9/2019 no sales tax was charged...
Havn't bought anything from them since 2020...

Well hell, I hate to admit it but I ordered an SDS 100.

I've been hesitant due to the proprietary battery but since Whistler seems to be pretty much gone I couldn't pass up on the discount, free shipping & no sales tax. That beats most by about $100. I'll need that for NXDN & DMR upgrades.

My wife will flip out that I'll have another radio. I bought 3 in the last month.

Check out the thread above for a discussion on Ali Express & the 325P2. I've bought two used/like-new from Amazon in the past month or so.

I figured I'd return it if the condition wasn't up to par. I kept both, so far so good. I still came out pretty good on price, even after upgrading both NXDN & DMR.

Yup.....radios, guns, ammo. I have multiple addictions.

I have a pretty understanding wife.

My ex-wife was another story, she'd flip out if she could see all the "toys" I've acquired since our divorce 14 years ago. 😆

At the moment, Main Trading lists the 536HP @ $649.00, but if you add the scanner to your shopping cart, pricing drops to $571.12, well under Amazon's $649.98. No idea if that is about to expire soon or not.

Best to hide it until she is half drunk. Then let her see it. When she asks about it, tell her she gave you permission to get it. Works about half the time. Otherwise, buy her something of similar value that she would like.

At the moment, Amazon shows the 996P2 at $377.46, with the option of splitting the cost over 5 monthly payments of -$76, with no interest charges. Of course, being Amazon, that price could change at any time.

The 325P2 is $320 on Amazon new. $307 used/like new.

Very good prices.

Maybe I should've gotten 2 more of them instead of an SDS100.
