Does Santa Cruz County still dispatch San Benito SO, Hollister PD, and the fire departments in San Benito County other than CDF?

I hear the ID on the SBSO freq as "Hollister"

As far as I know.
I do know Santa Cruz County NetCom does several of the San Benito County Agencies, but I don't know for sure they do all of those.

Who We Are

Santa Cruz Regional 9-1-1, formerly The Santa Cruz Consolidated Emergency Communications Center (SCCECC), is a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) providing public safety and 9-1-1 dispatch services for the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office, the San Benito County Sheriff's Office, and the police departments for the cities of Santa Cruz, Watsonville, Capitola, and Hollister. Santa Cruz Regional 9-1-1 also provides services to 11 fire agencies, American Medical Response West (the local paramedic and ambulance transport provider), and County Animal Control Services.

SCR 9-1-1 is the primary Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for Santa Cruz County, with the exceptions of Scotts Valley Police and the University of California at Santa Cruz. SCR 9-1-1 acts as the secondary PSAP for these agencies and maintains fully equipped and operational Alternate Sites in Watsonville and Hollister.

Thanks for the answers. I was a little thrown off hearing the dispatch ID of "Hollister" on the San Benito SO freq.

SCR911 who dispatches San Benito County, uses the dispatcher ID of "Hollister" when on the radio systems for san benito county, its particularly important as there dispatchers also dispatch other santa cruz county channels, the fire dispatcher that works the hollister fire channel also works the santa cruz county fire channels, they use the ID of hollister as an easy way to separate where the traffic is coming from, otherwise you would hail them as "netcom" if you were one of the santa cruz county agencies they dispatch.

Thanks for that. Interesting concept.
