thanks for the info Ron,

wonder if this is going to be part of the Southen Cal TRS

I don't know what "the Southe(r)n Cal TRS" is, but this is part of a regional interoperability project in the San Diego Urban Area.

System ID 001 .... Lets try not put wrong info on the DB system page. It makes it hard on Unitrunker, etc to download the system info...

All I did was include the information that was sent to me and updated the database accordingly. The person indicated that the Sys ID was 001. Sorry if there was any confusion.

This is why it's good practice to manually submit the information when someone sends it privately. It would avoid any confusion like this. I would have been skeptical of a 001 sysid myself.

I've made the system public again and updated the System ID.

So who gets to name a system? I see someone has decided the name of the system is "San Diego Urban Area Interoperability System." While it is funded by an interoperability grant (PSIC '07), the original post calling it "San Diego City 700 MHz, Project 25 TRS" is an accurate name for the system.

The DB Admin who creates the system. I'll change it.

Just to revive a year old thread, I've updated the talkgroups on this system based on personal monitoring. They are admittedly vague so feel free to correct me if anyone knows the actual channel names / alpha tags. Signal strength and building penetration are really good from their Mt Soledad site (in an area where building penetration is comparably not so good on the digital talkgroups on the RCS North Simulcast Zone). It's hilarious to hear a very expensive 700 MHz P25 system dedicated (at the moment) entirely to garbage truck drivers BS'ing with each other. :)
