Can someone advise what TG 2415 is on SDRCS Next Gen.
Been hearing it a lot over the last hours, no unit IDs, running plates.
Was cross reference to Oceanside CHP Tac 2, but that can't be.
Looking at my data from unitrunker, the talk group 2415 has 2 hits beginning 3/10/2020 last 3/17/2020. Only one radio id hit the talkgroup, radio id 44343. I search my captures and that radio ID appears to have only used TG 2415.

Do you know what agency that ID belongs to?

Thanks for getting back to me, give me something to do.
I did hear something in one of the communications yesterday mentioning the Glamis Beach Store.

Heard a unit hailing "San Bernardino" on TG 2415 today. Unit identified himself as "1 Adam 5". Radios also seem to be associated with talkgroups 2415, 2418, 2420. Did not sound like CHP. Maybe a Federal agency? BLM or Fish and Wildlife perhaps?

Radio IDs 42104, 42109, 42110, 43123, 43124, 43125

2415 I believe is BLM . I Heard Imperial County Sheriff talking about a person lost out in Glamis and asking for BLM help and heard the same traffic about the lost person from BLM on 2415 and saying San Bernardino, dont hear them much traffic from them.

Hearing new traffic on TG 2990, 2991, and 2992. Sounds like security type work and references Oceanside. Possibly VA Police? Recently the RCS Board approved them moving to the RCS for operations. I know they have a facility in Oceanside. Just a guess at this point.

Yeah, they were active yesterday and testing.
I’m guessing it could be VA Police too
https://www.scandiego.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1862

San Diego VA Medical Center Police were historically on 407.6125 RM DC 371. I'll keep an ear out and see if I still hear them key up.

Edit: That was quick. San Diego VAMC Police are still using the UHF analog repeater above. If that's being patched into the RCS NextGen you should be able to hear their MDC-1200 squelch tails. Otherwise I suspect you're hearing the VA PD at the VA clinics in north county, including Oceanside VA Clinic.

The old database from the original RCS was copied over to the NextGen RCS -- however, some of the old RCS TG's were never used and have probably been recycled to new users.

Greetings Mr. Jim -- as for talk group I.D. of 2415, I would say it is the CHP. If and when I move my handheld scanner to receive East Simulcast or Northeast Simulcast - I receive similar radio traffic, and, the dispatcher identifying him/her self as San Diego. I did monitor radio traffic in regards to a citation being issued also. Due to living in Imperial County, I can't say 100% that indeed it's a CHP talk group.

While CHP El Cajon is on the RCS full time, San Diego and Oceanside remain on lowband and it's likely those "future use" Oceanside and San Diego CHP talkgroups were repurposed as you guys say. I migrated the confirmed BLM talkgroups to a new BLM category, and added the VA Police. Descriptions are vague so please kindly submit updates to the database when you confirm their usage.

Repeater control channel frequencies are wrong on the RR database. Try to do a search or tune and look for the repeater frequencies within your range.
This is what I found for NextGen within my range for Imperial County and already submitted to RR.

Control channels found
Site Frequency Name
054 853.4125 Calexico
047 853.9500 Ocotillo Wells
053 855.3625 Black Mountain
058 855.4125 Imperial County Sheriff Office
050 855.7375 Superstition Mountain
052 856.3875 Brawley
046 856.9125 Hendrix Peak with a N576 not the N570 like the others

Tune was done with a RS Pro 106
ou created information, posted information - about 'control channels on March 4, 2020. My reply to user 'Desert Scan' is on May 21,2020. You may have overlooked the transmitter frequency, the repeater frequency, the site 56 control channel of 856.1125. Your request to have those added apparently worked - they are listed as 'alternate' control channels. Kind of strange how you received/monitored so many 'alternate' control channels in a 1 day to 6 day time frame. Sadly, even though the Salton City transmitter is discussed in this portion of 'forum', with R R members offering the correct control channel, the idea of displaying the correct control channel continues to get ignored. At this point, I surmise that the 'scanner carrying' residents of Imperial Valley are somewhat of a threat to first responders. Or, the residents are using Broadcastify - with Broadcastify scanners not having the correct control channels. Imperial Valley appears to be the long lost stepchild that gets the last serving, the cup half full, the scraps - little to no effort into the website displaying current, correct, and functional information.

I've seen a lot of new talkgroups lately posted on the forums that would indicate Imperial County may have reorganized their talkgroups, so I'm just going to re-list all the ones I've seen in other threads here in one place:

TG (decimal) - Talkgroup Alpha Tag (if known) - Talkgroup Description:

911 - IM M/AIR - Imperial County Medical Air?
981 - IMCoCALL - Imperial County Call?
3631 - IFM Command 3 (Imperial County Fire Mutual Aid)
367- IFM Command 5 (Imperial County Fire Mutual Aid)
2841 - Imperial County Fire?

Since these talkgroups are very different than what's currently in the database, any confirmation from the Imperial County locals would be much appreciated. Unfortunately I'm too far away to verify myself. If these are correct that likely means many of the other existing Imperial County talkgroups could be out of date as well, so I'm trying to be a little extra cautious before making these changes.

Thanks!
