More Info Coming Soon!
I updated my scan speed test favorite list.
As before, the list contains 500 random frequencies segregated into 5 departments. However, the updated list contains frequencies from every band the scanner is capable of receiving, evenly distributed . There are 2 versions of the test list, set up as separate systems. The 500 Channel Random system has the frequencies in random order, as a worst-case scenario for scan speed--the scanner will have to change bands a maximum number of times while scanning. The 500 Channel Sorted system has the same 500 freqiencies in the same 5 departments, but each department is sorted by frequency in ascending order, to minimize the number of band changes--a best-case scanning scenario.
