Quick question, I heard some guys on 2M tonght, talking about some airport. Was it any of yall?
Any ideas that we could possibly start a little ragchew on the Ellijay repeater? That would be pretty cool if we could get a few of us on a HAM repeater!

I'm not a hamatuer, but I do monitor the Pine Log Mountain GMRS Repeater (462.625).

What makes you think we could hit the Ellijay repeater from the North Metro Area

You should be able to, or maybe we can do simplex. I don't know anything about GRMS!
I know someone who joins the Franklin net, from Ellijay. And he only uses 35 watts. With 55 watts or so, you should be able to do simplex with me.

Not from the hole I'm in. No outside antenna. Inside the shack only. Some day, I'll get a gain antenna up in the attic/truss area. What freq is the Ellijay rptr on? Plus, I'm only using a FT-60.

Try to get the Franklin repeater, 84/86 they call it. 147.240 MHz, CTCSS 151.4 + Offset.... there should be a net here in a few minutes.
