scanner crystals

I've posted in the general scanning forum, but really no luck.

I came across a electra bearcat iv scanner, but I can not find the frequancies I want. Does anybody know any place here in WV that might have any crystals for the bearcat?

The frequancies i am looking for are as follows:
155.145 *
155.745
154.280
153.830
151.100 *
453.150
155.625 *
162.400

The ones marked are the main ones I want.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would do a search thru Ebay....there are several vendors that sell crystals. Ordering them nowadays is an expensive and lengthy process.

I have tried that. only came up with three but they are grouped in packs of three, and not in the same group. So If I bought the three that i could use, there would be six I can not use.
I'll search some more, if I can not find anything, might just put it on the shelf.

International Crystal Manufacturing Company still makes crystals. I use to purchase crystals from them iin the 1970's.

Use to pay between $3 and $6 each. Amazine what 50 years of inflation can do!

rwwwheat, I don't think it's inflation as much as scarcity. No one uses them anymore. Of course, inflation didn't help it any.

I used to order crystals for my GE LMRS about 20 years ago. At that time they were just under $100 each. I shudder to think what they might cost now.
