I find it behind the times and very uninformative. Much of the information in their magazine has been pulled off of the web. It's real basic stuff to me and not worth the price. If you're looking for an informative radio periodical. I personally recommend Monitoring Times. After that, Popular Communications is good too.

I enjoy whatever relates to scanning. MT is a very good magazine but the scanner part could be a litttle bigger. I could careless about shortwave. I don't speak a foreign language so it's all "greek" to me. I could do without the shortwave guide as it takes up WAY to much valuable space. The SW that i would enjoy is HF. Military that is. As for Pop Com, very informative especially about legislative stuff. But once again it shorts the scanner hobby. Geared more toward HAM'S and SW than anything else. As for Scanning USA, the main topic, they do seem to pull a lot of info from this site. That should tell you a lot about this site. But any scanner related info is welcome. So I think it's a fairly good magazine. But most of the topices have already been covered elsewhere over time. But it's 100 percent scanner related and thats what I look for. I subscribe to all 3 mags and don't plan on stopping.
