Two days ago I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7. Now I can't run SDR# for more than a few minutes before the computer locks up. I have to turn the computer off with the on/off button. I deleted the dongle, reinstalled using Zadig no change.

I use HDSDR which runs perfectly. Changing to HDSDR isn't a problem, I like the simpler SDR#.

Any suggestions.

I would revert while your computer still has the old OS files saved. Windows 7 is substantially better, especially for SDR. I think you've learned the first reason why.

I had similar issues but am running just fine on multiple windows 10 machines. WHat I did to fix the lock up was to basically create a new instance of SDR# with a clean plugins.xml and .config. When it was stable I started to add things back and have been good with no lockups since.

Definitely wouldn't revert back to win7. Free upgrade time expires at end of month. Sdr# works fine on win10.

Exactly...used to run SDR# quite a bit on Windows 10 with zero problems. In fact I've run 5 different SDR software packages on Win10 and never had a stability issue. Do what jdolina said.
