The SDRplay downloadable Raspberry Pi SD-card image has been updated to include support for the Raspberry Pi 3 B+ device. This provides plug and play SDR functionality using Cubic SDR
and remote access to an RSP using Soapy Remote

More information and the link to the downloadable image can be found on the SDRplay forum here: https://www.sdrplay.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3134

A video guide to setting up an RSP on a Raspberry Pi3 can be found here: https://youtu.be/WvcbnoaYnL8

SDR with RPi3 B+

I just got a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ and would like to try it with my SDRPlay RSP2.
Problem, every time I try to download the image, it takes over 10 hours and I give up.
Have you experienced the same time downloading?

Can you run multiple SDRs on a rasberry pi, such as a 3b+?

I have been curious about that as well seems you have to run 2x instances of spy server to get it going I havent used this image in a while so someone feel free to correct me, its because the dongles dont have unique serial numbers or something along those lines.

I have been wanting to get that going for trunk tracking for a while I have 2x noeelect dongles myself :)

RSP2 + RPi 3 B+

I got SDRPlay to put the image on a different server and downloaded SD image in 15 minutes.

The CPU gets HOT and I need to use a heatsink / fan for extended use.

The price was right !
