I am a feed provider streaming a P25 simulcast using a conventional scanner. I have been learning to use SDRTrunk and find it far superior to my Uniden BCD536HP.

I have SDRTrunk (v0.5.0-alpha6) configured with two RTL-SDR dongles running on a quad core with Windows 10
I have my P25 system programmed in and working properly.

My problem is with streaming my feed to Broadcastify. It connects and is streaming the feed (as well as Alpha Tags) but on the Broadcastify listening side using Scanner Radio (Android) after about 5-10 minutes it disconnects and then reconnects after a small delay. I don't see any errors in the sdrtrunk.app.log that I am aware of.

FYI The system I monitor is very busy and the dispatcher's are long winded. I say this because to my understanding SDRTrunk queues the calls so during busy times the calls stack up. I don't know if there is a limit and may be causing the feed interruptions.

Like I said, I run a conventional scanner feed and it's rock solid so I am confident that my internet connection is working properly.

Anyone have a tip as to why this is happening? And if there is a fix or workaround?

is your client app disconnecting/reconnecting, or is SDRTrunk disconnecting/reconnecting?

It is the client app. Scanner Radio (Android). I also tested it with the HTML5 player it gets disconnected too.
I can see other feed listeners getting disconnected too, so something SDRTrunk is feeding Broadcastify that is causing the issue.

SDRTrunk seems to be working fine. No reports of it disconnecting.

But SDRTrunk never disconnects? If SDRTrunk is running 100%, I would raise this to the broadcastify team, as this could be a platform issue for thjem.

That's what I am thinking but I'm a noob with SDRTrunk. I don't know how many people are streaming using it and hoping there are others that know more than I do before trying to go that route. I expect their response will be to use approved streaming software.

I am speculating as the cause but it seems to be caused by buffering in the receiving app side. I have an old program Winamp I was testing and it plays for awhile and then starts reporting "BUFFERING". It becomes more frequent as time goes on and then it disconnects. It looks like Scanner Radio (Android) my be doing the same thing, just not reporting it. Again, all speculation. Anyway, thanks for your input.
