SDRTrunk SDRTrunk Max Traffic Channels

I have a question about the max traffic channels. I don't quite understand it, Does it go by how many frequencies a site has, or how many aliases you have? The site has 5 frequencies, and I have 7 aliases. I set the max traffic channels to 5. Do I need to set that up more, or is that about right?

Yes, set it to 5 or more. The newer versions of SDRTrunk have the default set to 20, so you may consider upgrading.

Pretty sure, as of March 2025, you only need the number of max traffic channels to equal the number of freqs on the system. So you can do 5.

I don't have a direct link to share, but all of the nightly releases I've tried since around April of '24, and the most current final version have automatically set the max to 20 whenever a new channel is added. The previous final version, and nightly releases started off with the max set at 5, so that gives you a time frame of when the change was made.

I've had this error appear even with my max set to 50 and on a system with maybe 10 or 12 frequencies. It's a bug. Changing the setting isn't going to help you until they fix the bug...

Thus why I still run 0.6.0
