I actually just put it in the cup holder its self, I have a nylon carrying case for the 100. I also use a Larsen tri-band on my car and hook it up to the coax while it sits in the cup holder. If you're going to use the antenna on the radio you might want to get it higher and proclip, just look it up has great holders that snap into your vent and you can use the belt clip and it brings the antenna above the body of the car.
For a while I used as seen on TV cup holder that screwed into and tightened on the cup holder of the car and then it was a phone mount type deal. It held pretty tight even with the coax attached but it wasn't long before it just fell apart LOL.

There are some 3D printed ones on eBay for under $30. I got one and it works really well.

I have had this for about 2 years in my truck. Works on both my 436 and SDS100.
I bought this incredible holder as well. I am sure there are not any standard cup holder sizes since this one fits, but has a little room to spare. Initially, I thought of adding foam or something, but I found there is really no need. I am strongly considering putting Velcro on the bottom of this little boy and put it on the dash. Again, this one is outstanding. You don't have to jack around with stupid adjustments either. Plop and go.

Yes sir!
My scanner has never fallen over once since I started using it, especially since I'm currently using the Comet BNC-W100RX antenna which can make it a tad top heavy.

Awesone. I use the same antenna on my R30. Been meaning to get another one for my 436. Time to order both holders. Now to find one for the R30 and I will be set.
