Does anyone in the group know were I can get an extra long programing/Power Cord for an SDS 100? I want to use the radio as a table top and use household electric in stead of battery power. I have tried two different Walmart stores with no luck ,and have had no luck finding one through Scanner Master.

Micro Center would probably have them if you want someplace ~local. I got a 10' a few years ago, one issue I had with the cable was that the scanner kept giving me a low voltage warning so you may need to get a beefy power brick as well.

What month is it?
I would strongly suggest that whatever cable you get, you make sure that it specifies "AWG24". Especially if you want a longer cable, you need the heavier wires to avoid the voltage drop thinner wires cause.

Usually I'd recommend Anker, but they don't make a USB Mini cable, and the longest you'll find is 10 ft.

Here's a Monoprice 15ft cable, with the desired 24AWG wiring for power, as well as a ferrite core to help deal with interference that might be picked up by the cable.
