I myself would not trust that to be waterproof and seal compared to a genuine Uniden cover..

My cover arrived yesterday, interesting the Amazon vendor delivered in days whereas Uniden said; no stock and not sure when they would have them in.

That’s because what uniden sells, or should be selling would be original and what you bought is aftermarket most likely 3d printed.

If you got the one on eBay, let us know about the chromatic aberration.



Not sure what the original cover is made of but the cons for that material (TPU) are interesting.

It sure looks 3D printed with those stripes that a printer head creates when going back and forth. Maybe it's the mold that where 3D printed and then they pour rubber resin into the mold.
