SDS100/SDS200: SDS100 BT audio

One of the glaring lacking features of this amazing device is BT audio connectivity. Here’s how I hacked it. I used the uGreen airplane BT transmitter and a pair of the cheapest JBL BT earbuds. It’s working very well for me. Hope this helps anyone!

Find the smallest bt transmitter there is and see if you can imbedded it inside the radio similar to how the internal gps mods were done on the Bcd436Hp.

Or use one without wires.

As long as it isn't creating RFI, which the SDS100 is susceptible to.

I was wondering if anyone has had luck with these running them on scanners or radios. I have my shack in the garage and wanted to BT to a speaker that I could move around the house.

The cheap ones don't have much range.
The better ones do - but as with any RF, it depends on distance and what the building materials are between you and the transmitter
