Why does sentinel seem to get stuck when I'm updating the database on my SDS100? I download the update to Sentinel first, then when I go to write to the scanner it gets stuck at the level seen in the attached picture View attachment 191153
Yes, it shows up in the file explorer. Cable is brand new. I just dia read from scanner first and it worked that time.Sounds like maybe a corrupt SD card or bad cable. Try a different cable or reformat/replace the SD card. Does your SDS100 show up in the Windows File Explorer when it's in Mass Storage Mode?
If you wait long enough it will come up with an error number and probably some text that helps you identify the problem.then when I go to write to the scanner it gets stuck at the level seen in the attached picture
It's the cable that came with the scanner.“Cable is brand new” doesn’t necessarily mean it is a quality data capable cable. And you don’t read as much data as you write when pushing a new copy of database.
Yes, I have a 16gb in it.Is the SD card 32GB or smaller?
The max size Uniden SD Card is 32GB.
The stock SD Cards are 4GB x36's and 8GB SDS's.
It's the latest version, 2.05.03, that's just the little popup window when it's writing. What version of Sentinel is that in your picture above...
I don't see anything that looks like that when writing to the scanner...
