So I’m just curious I am listening to dmr on one frequency I have the slot and color code set properly I’ve messed with the filter settings and have squelch set to 2 yet for some reason I’m not receiving all traffic I may hear bits and pieces of the transmission it’s a school transportation so it’s county wide am I missing anything on here as to why im only hearing bits and pieces

And you're sure it's conventional DMR and not a part of a trunked system? How close are you to the tx site? How many bars of signal? What's your RSSI level?

I am positive it’s a conventional DMR as I see the same unit id for different radios it always has been a conventional channel they just upgraded their radios a few years ago to DMR and I haven’t checked the RSSI level… may I ask what the purpose of RSSI is

Did it work before messing with filters?

So you see the RIDs come up but are hearing no audio on occasion? Partial encryption not a factor? Again, how strong is the signal?

I’m going to have to enable the rssi to see how strong the signal is

Each radio would have a different id, they would not have the same. Sounds like your on part of a trunked system where the tg id would be the same.

Can you post the said freq, county and state? Or a link to the freq in the database?

So the license in the FCC expired in 2013 and only lists analog.

The only other license in their name only reflects analog.

The database lists as DMR which it most likely is. How far are you from 34th and (looks like) Loop 289?

The second FRN seems to hold a licenses that reflect digital.

FCC Licensee Query Results for: FRENSHIP INDEPENDENT (The Entire FCC Database)

FRENSHIP INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT0001670173TXLUBBOCK
FRENSHIP INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT0028546927TXLUBBOCK

In the middle of a few things but looks like these have digital but not 461.2 is not listed.

FRENSHIP INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICTWRDX814461.512500003000MOIGLUBBOCKLUBBOCKTX
FRENSHIP ISDWRXI529461.7875000010FB2IGLUBBOCKLUBBOCKTX

Punch some of these in and see what you get..

Are you by any chance on a repeater input rather on it's output frequency?
No it’s the same frequency they have used since the 90s since I got my first scanner ever
