If the noise level suddenly changes from 411 to 13350 it probably means that the noise floor sometimes goes so high, when monitoring that site, that it more or less drowns the signal. You have some serious interferences that messes up the decoding quality.

Try using the attenuator on that site.

Listen to that 772.50625MHz frequency in analog conventional mode and see if you hear any interferencies coming in and disturbing the datasignal.

Agreed. Two other things to try:

1) Attenuation (probably no good effect, but worth trying).

2) IFX. Press HOLD, 772.50625, HOLD, then F+7 to turn on IFX for that frequency.

I believe he said he tried that in the deleted post and it was skipping over the site then. I could be wrong but I thought I saw that yesterday. Said he was getting interference from a 100 plus watt ttbo repeater in the area if I recall correctly.

If it is direct frequency interference (i.e. two systems in range using the same frequency) hard to avoid other than "getting out of the way" of the system you don't want to receive.

What's IFX?

Intermediate Frequency Exchange. It changes the intermediate frequency to avoid images and other forms of interference.
