All -
From what I've been able to see so far, the SDS100 both charges and programmes through the mini-B socket labelled "Charge," correct?

If this is true, then exactly what is the micro-B socket for? It has to be there for a purpose - beancounters won't let something get extra parts from the factory for no good reason. (I know those guys too well, and they're just allowed to make too bloody many decisions...)

The 200 has a port on the back that the manual says if for future use and years later its still unknown.
The 200 also has a USB A port on the front... Purpose unknown...
The 100 has a Micro USB on the side... Purpose unknown... Although you can power the scanner from it...

The micro USB on a SDS100 are connected to the DSP and not the CPU so cannot be used for programming, but it has access to a 2.88MHz frequency wide sample of the IF signal and the audio stream, whatever things that the DSP handles.

It will need a processor controlled device to be connected that can send commands to the DSP. It could be used to record and save that 2.88MHz spectrum and then later look at and decode and listen to any signal within that frequency span that you migth have missed.
