@pro2052 was your order placed through Main Trading also? I had inquired about the SDS200 because I couldn't find it on their site and that was because it was sold out. I was told it was out of stock but was being ordered and it should take a week - week and a half to have back in stock.

I purchased an SDS100 and it seemed like the last few orders for them may have been delayed because it also became sold out. Luckily, my order was fulfilled but this may be what happened with your order.

They are very responsive via email. Just contact them and you'll likely get a response. I'm glad I found this post and the company as I prefer to support smaller businesses.
Yes I ordered through Main Trading Company. It was supposedly in stock when I ordered. They do live streams on their Facebook page and they mentioned that were behind on orders as they had received hundreds of orders during the black Friday weekend, but they were still trying to get orders shipped out.

I sent them an email using the form on their website. I'll let you know when they respond.

OTOH, I ordered a battery pack/charger for my SDS100 on Tuesday. It was shipped via USPS and supposed to arrive on Monday. It came in the mail today, two days early.

At this time of year, weird things happen for FedEx, UPS, and the USPS. UPS at least has a lot of temporary seasonal employees and things can go awry. I don't know if the USPS does or not.

Well my SDS 200 was supposed to arrive on Thursday 12/5 but it appears USPS has lost it! Not been seen since last scan in Texas on 12/4 6AM...someone else got a smoking deal!

I added the system via Sentinel. I have had the SDS100 in the past and have had some experience with the programming.

I love it when a delivery arrives a day or two early. It's always an unexpected treat. :)

Or a problem if you weren't expecting it to arrive, not at home and a "porch pirate" swoops in. USPS, UPS, FedEX all have smart phone apps/text messaging availability to notify you of the status of your package. Once a label is created with a tracking number on any of the three major delivery services, I receive a text message. You can also redirect a package if you know you would not be home.

I know that happens, but I've never had it happen at my house. I don't think it happens commonly, especially when the package is left in the mail box or behind a gate.

I saw steel box at Costco that is designed for receiving packages securely. Not a bad idea, but not something I'd buy.

They also have local drop boxes or as a friend of mine did, went to his local USPS facility and put a hold on a package (which can also be done via an app). But...it's easy to track these days.

Thankfully, with my house sitting back a ways from the street and any main sidewalks, I've never had an issue with porch pirates. What also helps is that my front door (and the steps leading up to it) are on the sire of my house and with a large evergreen bush partly hanging over the steps, most delivery folks will set the package behind the bush, thus effectively hiding it from a street view.

Just got an email that my order has shipped today. Took 8 days to ship, so I must be getting the newest shipment of SDS200s they received. I guess I'm okay with that.

The SDS100 I ordered Black Friday evening also just shipped yesterday. Assuming it's a fully functional unit upon arrival, the savings will have been worth the wait.

My SDS200 arrived today. So far it works great, audio is loud and clear and no hum issues as of now.

Picked mine up today. I don't think I'll ever see that deal again for an SDS 200 ($600 flat price...no shipping or tax) and threw in a GPS unit. (Just priced it at the two major distributors...Around $760 with tax/shipping). Didn't mind the wait for a price like that!

I missed the boat I guess.....

Anyone know of any other good deals going on? I think I'll pull the trigger on another '200 for a base
