Yes I ordered through Main Trading Company. It was supposedly in stock when I ordered. They do live streams on their Facebook page and they mentioned that were behind on orders as they had received hundreds of orders during the black Friday weekend, but they were still trying to get orders shipped out.@pro2052 was your order placed through Main Trading also? I had inquired about the SDS200 because I couldn't find it on their site and that was because it was sold out. I was told it was out of stock but was being ordered and it should take a week - week and a half to have back in stock.
I purchased an SDS100 and it seemed like the last few orders for them may have been delayed because it also became sold out. Luckily, my order was fulfilled but this may be what happened with your order.
They are very responsive via email. Just contact them and you'll likely get a response. I'm glad I found this post and the company as I prefer to support smaller businesses.
Well my SDS 200 was supposed to arrive on Thursday 12/5 but it appears USPS has lost it! Not been seen since last scan in Texas on 12/4 6AM...someone else got a smoking deal!
@GeorgiaScan did you use the zip code feature to get up and running or a program to set it up? Just curious as I'm trying figure out which direction to go in.
Sorry for the off topic post
OTOH, I ordered a battery pack/charger for my SDS100 on Tuesday. It was shipped via USPS and supposed to arrive on Monday. It came in the mail today, two days early.
At this time of year, weird things happen for FedEx, UPS, and the USPS. UPS at least has a lot of temporary seasonal employees and things can go awry. I don't know if the USPS does or not.
I love it when a delivery arrives a day or two early. It's always an unexpected treat.![]()
Or a problem if you weren't expecting it to arrive, not at home and a "porch pirate" swoops in. USPS, UPS, FedEX all have smart phone apps/text messaging availability to notify you of the status of your package. Once a label is created with a tracking number on any of the three major delivery service, I receive a text message. You can also redirect a package if you know you would not be home.
I know that happens, but I've never had it happen at my house. I don't think it happens commonly, especially when the package is left in the mail box or behind a gate.
I saw steel box at Costco that is designed for receiving packages securely. Not a bad idea, but not something I'd buy.
