SDS100/SDS200: SDS100 - Southern Nevada - Las Vegas - DPS

Hi everyone, I'm looking at purchasing a SDS100 scanner - I just want to confirm before I take the plunge, that it is capable of scanning both EDACS, as well as Project 25 Phase I. I just recently moved to Las Vegas and am coming from an area that still uses analog radio systems.

Any feedback would be appreciated!

It's not favorable to US. Other areas besides Las Vegas were mentioned too with the common theme.

Does anyone know what “phantom (number)” means on the Las Vegas area Fire talkgroups? Is it a special kind of apparatus or something?

This is only a guess on my part, but to me it sounds like a way of specifying an area of the city because it comes right after the other location information like district. They will give an address and then say something like "district 99, phantom 27". When I hear it I imagine a map of the city divided up into squares each with a phantom number. This district is probably a larger area with a number of phantom areas in each district.
