So ZipScanners now tells me that the cable for the 325P2 is NOT the same cable for the SDS100. They are saying it takes a special cable. :roll:

You must have some clout and authority as they have already removed the USB-1 picture from their SDS100 GPS cable web page (now it says "No Image Available")! It still remains on their BCD325P2 GPS cable web page however.
I'm working with them to clear up the confusion.
FYI if anyone is interested, below is a picture of the Uniden BC-UTGC GPS cable (for the SDS100 and BCD325P2) from the GigaParts.com website. My order that I placed last night from Uniden Factory Store has not yet shipped, and order status says the same thing today as yesterday, order complete awaiting tracking information to be uploaded. Their product page now states the cable is on national backorder until late July. So I either got one of them or its on backorder. I have not yet, however, received notification of my order being backordered which they say they immediately do is notify a person if their item is on backorder and give them the option of cancelling it if so desired. I already called Universal Radio this morning to cancel my backorder there.
I'm not too worried about what happens since I don't plan on getting it until August by the looks of things. I just can't figure out why supply was not ready with the release of the SDS 100 in anticipation of high demand.

When you call Uniden Factory Outlet, they will tell you it is on backorder and they said sorry they forgot to update the website. They refunded my money immediately. I’m building my own cable.
I think I'm gonna just let it ride at this point. I'm also beginning to think that not one place that sells this stuff is better than the next when it comes to their advertising practices. Maybe buying 90% of what I buy online from Amazon has spoiled me.
That price of $19.95 with FREE shipping for the Uniden BC-UTGC GPS cable from the FactoryOutletStore.com is a decent deal and will probably be hard to beat. Also I would imagine that they will get inventory around the same time that all of the other dealers do and you are already "standing in line" with your order so it should be "first come first served."
Another option would be to order the BC-UTGC directly from Uniden for $14.99 (plus shipping) but who knows if they will get it back in stock any quicker than their own distributors and dealers. Also because it is out-of-stock on the Uniden website, you can't back-order it or calculate the shipping charges. On another note you would think that in 2018 it wouldn't be too hard to have an item's stock status on one's website be accurate and actually coincide with the actual stock level available for sale. Unless inventory is being stolen out of the back door of the warehouse on a regular basis, this shouldn't be too difficult to achieve for any online retailer.

ZipScanners had an adequate supply of 325P2 cables yesterday when I ordered one based upon the instant messaging I did with a guy on their website. He even went to check before confirming. Ironically today after finding out it’s the same cable, they have zero. Very bad customer service.

Do not order from ZipScanners! Ordered on 6/27 since their site showed in stock. No special programming so they only need to box and ship. Two days later and no tracking number. Finally reached a rep via their chat session and after a lengthy delay he says they won’t ship til next Tuesday or Thursday. This indicates they do not have the SDS100 in stock.
Advertising an item in stock, charging the customer, then not shipping is a deceptive business practice.

I have corresponded with the owner of Zipscanners who stated my scanner never shipped due to a human error. I am accepting his word and will await the scanner to ship tomorrow. Will update with status once I get tracking number.

Zipscanners looks good in theory, but their reputation is deteriorating here as time goes on. BSing customers to procure preorder sales is a no-no, as well as selling inferior accessories at inflated prices. I also hear their programming services leave a lot to be desired. Not a company I will ever do business with.
