I've looked at the manual, read the forum, and I'm not finding an answer to my question. There are two lights just below the Bearcat name and just above the large screen. I think they are blue and green.

What exactly are these? I've never seen them turn on and not sure what they are for.

Thank you

Oh wow, did not know that. What is the feature called?

So would it work like this... I am listening to a channel that's not my favorite, and if while listening to this channel, my favorite channel gets activity, the light will come on?

Can't remember which one is when you charge its red when fully charged its green. The other one is for what ever you program for solid or flash when a channel is active.

No. When your favorite channel becomes active, the LED will come on once the scanner goes to the favorite channel.

The one on the right side is the charge indicator.
The left side is the one that can be programmed for conventional channels or tautologous.

Page 14 in the manual:

"The two LED indicators above the display indicate charge status (right LED; red when charging,
green when charged) and channel alert indication (left LED)."

I put mine like, red = Fire / EMS, Blue = Sheriff, Cyan (light blue basically) = city police, yellow = Railroad, etc.

I put them to "Slow" or "Fast" flash when "other than main" TG is talking, depending on what it is, and sometimes in conjunction with a programmable tone.
