SDS100/SDS200: SDS100 will not select a WX freq when scanning?

I see another of your posts mentions Sarasota, FL. If that's where you live the NWS reports that 162.400 in that area is out of service.

Does your scanner receive other stuff? Have you tried taking it outside? The 162.4 that you hear on your wx radio, is it playing stuff and giving reports for your area?

Add all the NWS frequencies and see if any adjacent areas are still transmitting.
May not be as clear but may get some

Press Func then press and hold 6(WX) to enter Weather Scan

This will let you see which NWS frequencies you are able to receive.

I may have missed it, but did your SDS100 ever receive 162.400?

You did not hold the 6 long enough.

i just turned on a radio and 162.4 is working.

Hello. no sir, it has not received 162.400 when I hit function 6 is just says WX on or off

(1) press the "Channel" soft button under the display window to stop scanning

(2) push the side function key so that the "F" (for function) appears in the upper left corner of the display.... it will only stay in function mode for about 3 seconds.

(3) quickly (while the "F" is still showing) press and hold the "6wx" button.... be sure you hold down on the 6wx button for at least 3 full seconds
