I am wanting to add some tone-outs to monitor for CDF in Ca. They use two tone as well as what is a D7318 format.
I understand the two-tone, sentinel software won't accept the D7318. Anything I can do to get it to alert?

Thanks in advance,
Dennis

You have to monitor over the air and capture the tone freq. However you do realize that by using this feature you literally have a very expensive minitor that can not scan other channels at the same time.

This feature is the worst feature on a scanner. I didn't by a scanner to be a fancy tone alert receiver.

While I have the SDS100 and, won't be getting the SDS150. I also did not get my SDS100(and BCD436HP) for tone-outs.

The only plus to using the *36HP/SDS for tone out is they have 20 channels and not the 10 like 396/996/15 family of scanners. You might be better off using a 15X or one of the new 160DN or 260DN.
