SDS200 lan port

Do I need to do something special to get connectivity to scanner via the LAN port? When I plug into the scanner, no lights on either the scanner or switch. When I take the same cable to another device, they both light up. Back to the scanner - nothing. Just unboxed it today, so still learning.

Have you gone into the settings and set up either a DHCP or static IP? On the scanner itself. Look for “LAN settings”

I believe after any changes it requires a reboot too.

Thank you. That did it. I wasn't even going to mess with IP settings until I knew they were talking, but I guess you have to do that first.
