So are you saying I can plug this into the LAN port and use the SD card to run the SDS200?....
No

Well at least USB A does something!!

And I will try the SD adapter in USB A after I get the External USB SD card reader!

Proscan can control, record and program the scanner either with usb micro cable or the LAN port.

The device I linked that plugs into the LAN is a WiFi bridge to get the 200 on my home network. It requires power and that is what plugs into the USB A. Its simply powering the WiFi bridge.

USB A will not do anything other than supply power to a usb device. It will not transfer any data.

Awesome....didn't know there was such a device.....too bad it's not MicroSD to MicroSD.....but since they have the MicroSD to Tf....they probably do!

And when I take the SD Card out I will try a SD Card reader in USB A and see it will read it!
YOU DON"T NEED TO REMOVE THE SD CARD AT ALL ! THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF THE CABLE !

I think it’s been covered before, but for the future if you find yourself swapping cards often, you may save some wear and tear on the MicroSD card slot and could use something like a extension cable like this on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Cablecc-Micro-SD-Memory-Extension-Extender/dp/B08SW7ZCDM.
I ordered one and thanks for the link.....Should have thought about it..... I have a right angle SD extension for my computer (since someone thought it was prudent to put Controls on the TOP of cases).....Never really thought about wear and tear, in about 30 years I've only had 1 that had an issue and that was on an add on USB card....

Thanks again
