USB A on the SDS200 is just for the perfect look!
It's useless !!!!
We have been waiting for more than a year to tighten fw for SDS200.

UPMan said it was for future use when it first came out not sure but others here have played around with it not sure what they found.

As others have said, officially it's for "future use".

But many people use it to power a wi-fi dongle plugged into the Ethernet port.

What would happen if I plugged a power supply into this USB A? Could it be catastrophic? I'm too scared to try as I gathered it's obviously not meant for charging?

I did read a comment that it could have been used for GPS adapter in the future. Not sure.
