New to the SDS200 with Sentinel. Just got the radio from a friend who had several favorite list programmed.
1. Read from the scanner
2. Deleted the Favorites I didn't want.
3. Modified a few
4. Saved file
5. Wrote back to the radio

The favorites I deleted still show up (on the radio) when selecting the favorite list I want to scan.
Shouldn't the write process delete the ones I deleted using Sentinel?

You need to have all FLs in Sentinel, marked as download=yes, that you want on the scanner. Then do as @W6KRU describes above.

If you had a couple FLs on scanner that weren’t in Sentinel, then this wouldn’t be a good suggestion.

And it will erase all FLs on the scanner and replace with what you are writing at this moment.

The FL=download option is part of each FL.

Download (Read) from the scanner to Sentinel. Within Sentinel, delete the FLs you do not want. Write to the scanner and select erase favorites lists on scanner. That will erase what is on the scanner and replace it with what is in Sentinal. If you are nervous about it, you can look in TOOLS, OPTIONS and find where the files are saved. Then you can go to that location in file explorer and copy the entire Sentinel folder (BCDx36HP) somewhere else for a backup.
