Sorry was joking. The SDS200 is just the desktop model of the 100, but has ethernet capabilities built in.

Better performance-wise? Or better for your intended application? They are essentially the same radio - the SDS-100 is a handheld, the SDS-200 is a base/mobile scanner. Where do you intend to use the radio primarily? If you primarily listen at home, get the SDS-200. If you want portability, get the SDS-100.
