I don't think that there is a market for a $3,000.00 scanner the size of a microwave. Which you'd probably want as well.

Or another thought for the folks at Uniden, why not give us a true wide coverage scanning receiver. Something where we can have some capabilities down low for shortwave, side band etc? Maybe a 2nd or 3rd VFO?

No mileage in it for Uniden when Icom & AOR have similar products, massive cost of development just doesn't pay off. What Uniden does they do well in most cases & sales are good,no need to change the formula.

It's probably gonna take a kidney along with the blood. Just sayin'
I have been told they don't accept wore out parts. It seems that they expect to be able to resell them and actually make some money off of them!
