IDK, I don't believe the process occurs without some sort of human interaction. It doesn't happen automatically w/o human involvement apparently. So, If nobody's in the office Monday (or the appropriate employee).. No update takes place.. And they don't seem to have an issue with letting it slide.. Neither do I.. It'll be OK..

Learn how to program things w/o the automatic DB updates
Some people have serious problems, This isn't one. Good grief Charlie Brown..

That would be disappointing if they are manually updating their database. Everything can be automated, especially something like this.

It would also be alarming if they couldn't do this remotely. It's 2020, not 1995.

At least one person must have a hand in the process, That one person must be absent, and isn't replaceable.. Or there is an error in the pull and hasn't been fixed, Apparently.. Think (Pray) good thoughts for that person, they may be sick...

I call the uniden tech support # and talk to a live person, she indicates that corporate offices are aware of this issue and are eotking on a (Fix) there is no known date of when the issue will be resolve. I had a ticket created and when the issue is resolve I will be notified.

Exactly. There has to be a script that pulls the data from the RRDB, massages the data into the format needed by Sentinel and deposits the output file into the ftp directory accessed by Sentinel. And what server admin cannot access his servers remotely via VPN?

This can't be that hard to fix.

I know how to program manually, but there were a sh*t ton of changes to my local area the last couple of weeks and I'm not going to spend that time in Sentinal; I'm going to use my TRX-1. Not a serious problem, just a pain in the ass one.

I remember a comment by UPMan a few years ago. Paraphrasing here, the process is automatic, but they like to review it for big errors before releasing to the general public. (it was in a thread)

Imagine the bashing they would take for letting a few users download a bad DB?
