Many (but not all) of the OSP talk groups are encrypted and no scanner will receive them

Sounds like you don't have something setup right...
If you created a favorite list with just the OSP and your getting "Nothing to Scan" from that favorite list, check your profile settings in Sentinel for
"Download and Monitor" and make sure they are checked for that list before loading to the scanner...

You do realize that the Marcs IP system is a trunked system... It's more than just entering a frequency... What "Site" frequency's are you using...
You did not say what your location is....

These are the Control Channel freqs for my area... (Top right)

This list is for District 3 talk groups for my area for example...

You can take out all the sites that have gone or will be going to the siimulcast. You will need to leave Reynoldsburg in, because they’re not part of the simulcast.

Specifically (as soon as they're confirmed off the air), you can remove Pataskala (127), Johnstown (159), Granville (165), Newark (166), Hickman (167) and Linnville (168).

To add a sIte manually using Sentinel: Click on the Edit tab and Edit Favorites List. Select the favorites list and click on OK. In the left pane, click on the trunked system. Click on the Sites tab. Click on the green plus sign to add a site. Name the site. Select a site quick key, site filter and site NAC if desired. Click on the new site in the left pane. Click on the green plus sign to add as many control channel capable frequencies as required. Enter the frequencies. If using GPS, click on the Location tab and enter the Latitude, Longitude, and Range. Click on the File tab and Save. Click on the File tab and Exit. The site has now been added to the system in Sentinel.
