I have a couple of extra RTL-SDRs and would like to set up a calls feed for a system local to me that is not on there. I would like to use a Libre Computer Renegade, which is regarded to be somewhere close to a Pi 4 in performance. Would this be enough power for the following P25 system? Burlington County Public Safety Burlington County Public Safety (P25) Trunking System, Burlington County, New Jersey Any set up tips? So far I think it doesn't look to complicated, but I am also pretty confused on the setting up the actual trunk recorder portion.

If it is similar to a RPi 4, it should work. Since you already have the hardware, it won't cost you much. You can download the Broadcastify image that will have almost everything you need to get started. Once that is up and running on your Renegade, you will need to create a config.json for your P25 TRS. Once that is done, plop it into the configs/trunk-recorder folder and you are set. You will likely have to tweak the config file for the best results.

After a day of some trial and error we are rolling. The biggest issue I had was determining the ppm. I attempted to use rtl_test but it didn't work, the value it gave me resulted in not receiving control channel data. I then realized you had to zoom in using GQRX to set find it, once I did that it was easy. The only thing I am struggling with still is determining the optimal gain. But everything appears to be working and the sound quality isn't terrible so everything must be ok. Check it out:
