I have one Calls node up and running and submitted to start a second node. However, I don't know if I did it correctly. I selected the existing API key when filling out the application for the second node.

Also, when running SDRTrunk, all of the unencrypted audio from the two sites I am currently monitoring seems to be getting send to the existing Calls node I have running. Is there something I need to do to keep the audio being fed just from the CC associated with the currently streaming node?

Additional info:

Two RTL-SDR dongles on the same laptop. Both are in use by SDRTrunk. One is watching a VHF site, the other an 800 site, both on the same TRS. Second Calls node got approved. Prior to the approval, while the program was watching both sites, all the captured audio from both VHF and 800 were getting sent to the 800 site feed. With the activation/approval of the second Calls node, I thought turning that stream on might solve the audio porting issue. However, all captured audio continues to get sent to one node.

What am I missing to make these two Calls nodes each receive appropriate audio?

You need a separate alias list for each site, then set the alias list to stream to the appropriate node.

So, I took the second SDR and installed it on another computer that I won't typically be using for regular streaming. I provisioned SDTrunk for the new node, but the audio ended up streaming to the existing node, so I am thinking I should have requested a separate API key?
Normally, I would like to have both SDR's running off the same old computer, but I was trying to straighten out the streamed audio issues.

The laptop I used today is only set up to see the VHF site and stream to the VHF node. So, since all the audio ended up on the 800 node, I can only imagine that's because of using the same API key on both. I thought the node number would make it unique.

How do I go about getting a different API key assigned to the VHF node? Or, am I missing something else here? I'm new to the whole SDR streaming world, so it's still crawling before I walk.

You can use the same API, that doesn't matter. Ensure each site has its own alias list and each list is being sent to its respective node. Also make sure when setting up streaming for the second node that the node ID (system ID) is correct. Sometimes it will duplicate an existing system ID when creating a new Broadcastify Call in SDRTrunk.
