How can i make the DEM group not show up anymore?

You can't.

It's going non stop. In 1 min its got over 100 hits.

100 hits inside a minute? That's odd. Can you verify?

How do i delete that talk group so it wont come back up?

Again, you can't. As soon as it is used again, it will reappear.

It only did that on my one computer with windows 98 on it.
Had it running for 8 hours and had over 4000 hits.
On the 2 other computers running UT and one of them on the same CC that dont show up.
Maybe its just win98 having a fit

Hmm.. Now it does it on the laptop too. So guess its not just a win98 deal.
since iv been looking at the screen on the laptop for the last 10 mins its gotten a lot of hits. Its at 9060 and its 12:59 on the nose to the second. Now its 1pm on the nose to the second and its now at 9088

Trunker is also running and it dont show anything going on. Also on unitrunker its getting hits from toronto area hospital patches MNR and other opp areas aswell and trunker is just showing the normal talk going on.

That must be it. There's an active patch that includes that group. I thought I had changed the logic to not allow patches to bump the hit count - just calls; apparently not.

It was nuts. I had 7 talk groups or more up all at once.
And over on trunker was only 2.
The dumb annoying talk group dont show up all the time... just some times and for a long time. Wonder what causes it to have a hissy fit

I don't know. Please send me a log and I'll take a look at the control channel activity. Look under the [O]ptions menu to turn on logging. After you've seen the weird activity reappear, turn logging off and email the resulting log (named something like "Unitrunker-YYYYMMDD.log" in same folder as your Unitrunker data files).

Another TG has been doing it to but not as much at all.
I started to relog every thing last night after my last post. And its 2:30 now and it has gotten 13297 hits in that time.
It mostly hangs around between LCN channel 19-63. Same with the other tg's that happen to pup up and go away, such as london city hospital just came up for a second and went away on lcn 33

Hi Muxlow;

That's data from your group ID (GID) file. That isn't a log file. Under the [O]ptions menu is a line that reads "Logging is Off" or "Logging is On". Set that to on. In the same folder as the GID file you posted, a file ending with "LOG" will be created. It's a log of the control channel activity that shows the control channel messaging. That's what I need to understand the behavior you're seeing.

No ... just the LOG file. If you've been running the program with logging turned on for an extended period of time (multiple days) then you will see one LOG file with today's date and multiple LOG.GZ files. The GZ files are GZIP compressed copies of previous days' logs (one log file per day).

Ok i found it... Ill have to try and send it later. Its about 3 megs big, And it wont upload to the site here... And emailing it when i add the file hotmail crashes.
Maybe my net is getting used up by others rite now. I'll try to email it again later on

my unitrunker

I have been running unitrunker off my little USB flash drive....for some strange reason I lost all input and work I have done,the program is still on the drive and works well but everytime I restart it I get this.

I save after every change I've done also.Anyway here is a couple of pics of what I have now that I've started over.Cool program indeed,been using it for a while now.

It wont let me when its rared up, and when its not in a rar file its 130MB
Any part i can copy and past that would help?

Since it has been more than a day ... Unitrunker compresses the previous day's log file. Look for a file ending in".log.gz" with the same date. If you are unable to send it - it's no big deal.
