Just finished my install on my CDM's and Siren Controller. I still have to neaten up the wiring but I will do that when I have more time.

Good choice of mounting location - nice and hidden, but still plenty of ventilation. And you still have some storage room, too.

Just out of curiosity:

where did you run the wires for the CDM heads? Under the carpet or in the door channels, or somewhere else?

I ran them through the center console, through the dashboard, behind the the emergency brake (all loomed) and along the floor to the rear seats. I didn’t want the wires under the carpet. I have all my wires run that way all loomed and zip tied. There are a few more things I’m going to change with the wiring, when I do that I’ll take pictures of the complete project for reference. I have a 8 ga wire running from the battery to a fuse block in the center console.

When I first bought the truck I was against drilling holes in my roof for antennas and went with fender mounts. Now that the truck is 4 years old I figured what the hell, so one morning I dropped the headliner and drilled two holes in my roof.

Its been a step by step process and I’m very happy with the install.

It sure looks like the interior of my truck is the same as far as the factory console and storage area is concerned. Did you remove the cup holders under the Havis console?

Yes, The cupholders get removed and this falls right into place. I do miss the cupholders but I like the console and all my equipment centrally located.

One suggestion is use the sealed mounts for the fender brackets.i forget the part/model number. Less app to rot out as fast. nice set up thou.
