the ones Durham are selling do they not say C on the box and do they have an IC number on the back?

Every GRE on display in the Durhamradio store and from what I saw at the St. Catharines and Brampton hamfests(which they were one of the vendors) were marked as C .
Only people peddling used scanners had ones imported from America.

no "C" on box or scanner that I purchased from Durham, mine was purchased over a year ago, perhaps they started marketing ones for the Canadian market since?

I think the C was only a recent addition about a year ago (I could be wrong though).. so its possible you bought yours from before the time.
